Accommodation website design
Beautiful websites built around the way guests choose where to stay.
Custom, mobile-responsive websites for Airbnb hosts, holiday rentals, serviced apartments and distinctive accommodation businesses across the UK and Europe.
Available as a standalone service or combined with professional property content
Section 01 · Why it matters
A listing is a page. A website is a brand.
Third-party listing platforms are useful — but they can only ever tell part of the story. An independent website gives an accommodation business room to present its brand, its properties and its point of view in full.
An independent website is a marketing asset, not a guarantee. Lux Wander Stay does not promise direct bookings, increased revenue or independence from Airbnb.
A well-designed website may help you
- 01Build a recognisable brand
- 02Present properties professionally
- 03Showcase more photographs and videos
- 04Collect direct enquiries
- 05Promote several properties in one place
- 06Create a central destination for social-media traffic
Section 02 · Website types
Four kinds of accommodation website.
Every project is bespoke, but almost every enquiry begins in one of these four shapes.
Single-Property Website
Designed for
Hosts with one distinctive apartment, cottage, cabin or villa.
Typical functionality
A single-property showcase — hero film, gallery, story, amenities, local guide and a clear enquiry route.
Multi-Property & Operator Website
Designed for
Owners, operators and property managers presenting a collection.
Typical functionality
Portfolio-style architecture with filtering, individual property pages, owner-facing sections and structured enquiry flows.
Holiday Villa or Cottage Website
Designed for
Countryside, coastal and European holiday properties.
Typical functionality
Editorial layouts built around cinematic photography, seasonal atmosphere and local storytelling.
Boutique & Serviced Accommodation Website
Designed for
Guesthouses, small hospitality brands, serviced apartments and corporate short-stay providers.
Typical functionality
Hotel-standard websites — brand story, rooms, rate structures, extended-stay information and enquiry routing.
Section 03 · What’s included
The considered essentials, as standard.
A comprehensive foundation applied to every project. Final inclusions depend on the selected package and project scope.
Every website ships with these foundations in place. Specific pages, integrations and depth of copy are agreed in your proposal.
Section 04 · Optional features
Add depth where it matters.
Optional modules layered on when your property, audience or business model calls for them. Third-party systems are connected via integration — the systems themselves remain operated by their providers.
Section 05 · Build process
A calm, five-stage build from discovery to launch.
Most projects run four to eight weeks from first call to going live, depending on scope and how quickly content is ready.
Post-launch note — ongoing support, maintenance and further phases of work may be purchased separately.
- 01
Discovery & Strategy
Understand the property, target guest and business goals, then plan the user journey, pages and priority calls to action.
- 02
Creative Direction
Define the visual style, colour palette, typography and image direction.
- 03
Content Preparation
Organise photography, video, copy, amenities, policies and local information.
- 04
Website Build
Create the responsive pages, components, forms and any agreed integrations.
- 05
Review & Launch
Complete client review and agreed revisions, connect the approved domain, test and publish.
Section 06 · The advantage
Designed and documented by one creative studio.
When the same studio designs the website and captures the content, the result feels quietly cohesive — because it was planned that way from the beginning.
View Pricing- Consistent visual direction
- Correct image sizes captured from the beginning
- Video designed for website placement
- Coordinated website copy and visuals
- Fewer suppliers and a smoother launch
Section 07 · Example website features
Website concepts across four stays.
Concept mock-ups built on four fictional UK and European properties, each demonstrating a different signature feature.

The Kensington City Residence
Luxury hero section
A cinematic full-bleed opener with quiet typography and a single, considered call to action.

The Cotswolds Country Retreat
Property gallery & amenities grid
Editorial gallery with room-by-room storytelling and a soft-lit amenities grid beneath.

Villa Bellacqua
Local area map & reviews section
Interactive map introducing the surrounding villages, paired with a considered review display.

The Aegean Cliffside Suite
Enquiry form & mobile property view
Full-height enquiry form beside a phone-frame preview of the property page on mobile.
Section 08 · Website FAQ
Careful answers, honestly given.
What hosts most often ask before commissioning a website — answered without overpromising on third-party systems.
Start Your ProjectCan I keep using Airbnb after launching my website?
Absolutely. Most hosts I work with continue to use Airbnb alongside their independent website — the two are complementary. I can link to your Airbnb listing directly and, where suitable, embed compatible third-party widgets; the precise functionality depends on what Airbnb currently permits.
Can you add a direct-booking system?
I integrate established third-party direct-booking platforms. Lux Wander Stay does not build or operate a booking engine — I connect your site to the system you choose, and the provider remains responsible for it.
Do I need professional photographs, or can you write the content?
Strong photography always helps a website perform its best. If images are missing or outdated, I can produce them through the Lux Wander Stay content service. I also help structure and refine website copy as part of every project, and can write it in full where useful.
Will the website work on mobile devices?
Every website I design is mobile-first — the majority of guests meet a property on a phone before anywhere else.
Can you connect a custom domain, and is hosting included?
Yes. I provide guidance on registering and connecting your preferred domain and handle the technical steps at launch. Hosting is arranged as part of the launch; some packages include an initial hosting period, and ongoing hosting is confirmed transparently in your proposal.
Can I edit the website after launch, and do you offer maintenance?
Sites are built so you can update copy and imagery yourself, and I include a short training walkthrough at handover. Optional care plans cover updates, small edits and seasonal refreshes, priced separately from the initial build.
How long does a website project take?
Typical projects run four to eight weeks from discovery to launch, depending on scope, content readiness and revision rounds.
Can you redesign an existing website?
Yes. Redesigns are a core part of the studio — same URL, entirely new experience.
Do you work with properties outside the UK?
Yes. Lux Wander Stay works with accommodation businesses across the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and Croatia.
