Refund Policy

This website is enquiry-led — nothing is bought or paid for at a checkout here. Where a project proceeds, the scope, price, payment stages, cancellation terms and any third-party costs are agreed in a written proposal or contract before work begins, and payment is then requested by invoice or a secure payment link.

How cancellations and refunds are handled

There is no blanket refund guarantee. If you cancel a project, what is refundable is assessed against the written agreement between us and reflects:

• the work already performed, including planning, shoot days, editing and build time;
• third-party costs already committed on your behalf (for example travel, accommodation, licences, hosting or domains);
• the payment stages set out in your agreement; and
• your statutory rights, described below.

Booking fees and deposits are not automatically non-refundable. Their treatment depends on the written agreement, the work performed and the costs committed by the time you cancel.

Your statutory cancellation rights (UK consumers)

If you are a consumer rather than a business, and the contract is agreed at a distance (for example entirely by email), you generally have a 14-day cancellation period starting the day after the contract is made, during which you may cancel without giving a reason.

• Work will only begin within that 14-day period if you expressly request it. If you then cancel, you may owe a proportionate amount for the work completed up to that point.
• Where you asked for the service to be performed within the cancellation period, acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel once it was fully performed, and the service has been fully performed, the cancellation right ends.
• To cancel, email hello@luxwanderstay.com with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. Any refund due is issued to the original payment method, usually within 14 days of cancellation.

Nothing in this policy affects your other statutory rights, including the right to services performed with reasonable care and skill.

Rescheduling

Shoots may be rescheduled without an additional creative fee where the reason is outside either party’s reasonable control (for example weather or illness), subject to availability. Any third-party costs already committed for the original date may still be payable.
