Who this notice covers

This website is operated by Lux Wander Stay (“Lux Wander Stay”, “the Studio”), a London-based creative studio. Lux Wander Stay is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing its content and website-design services. For any privacy or data-rights enquiry, email hello@luxwanderstay.com.

What this website does

The website currently accepts enquiries; it does not take payment at a checkout. Where a project proceeds, invoicing or a secure payment link may be provided through a third-party payment provider, which will be identified to you at that time. Card details are never collected or stored by Lux Wander Stay.

Categories of personal data collected

  • Enquiry data — name, email, property location, service interest, budget range, preferred date and anything you include in your message.
  • Project data — details you share while your project is scoped, planned and delivered, including brand assets and property information.
  • Correspondence — messages you send by email or through the site.
  • Anti-abuse data — to limit spam and repeat submissions, a non-reversible hash derived from your IP address and email is stored briefly with each enquiry. Raw IP addresses are not stored by the application.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Replying to enquiries and preparing proposals — legitimate interests.
  • Delivering and supporting an agreed project — performance of a contract.
  • Invoicing, accounting and tax records — legal obligation.
  • Protecting the site from spam and abuse, and maintaining service integrity — legitimate interests.

There is no marketing mailing list on this website and no marketing emails are sent from it. Emails sent to you are limited to replies, project correspondence and enquiry confirmations.

Who personal data is shared with

  • Hosting, database and email providers — for running the website, storing enquiries and project files, and sending enquiry confirmation emails.
  • A payment provider — only where a project proceeds and an invoice or payment link is issued, identified to you at that time.
  • Professional advisers — accountants and legal advisers, where reasonably necessary.
  • Authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

Lux Wander Stay does not sell your personal data and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

International transfers

Some providers may process personal data outside the UK / EEA. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are relied upon, such as UK/EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months from last contact. Invoicing and tax records are kept for at least 6 years as required by law. Anti-abuse records are deleted automatically after a short period. Project files are kept as a portfolio archive, with personal data removed or anonymised on request.

Security

Lux Wander Stay applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), authentication and least-privilege access controls on the private studio area, and cloud providers that maintain their own recognised security programmes. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Your rights

Where UK GDPR / EU GDPR applies, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO). To exercise any of these rights, email hello@luxwanderstay.com and I will respond within one month.
